Promoted by Ketan Mehta, the internationally renowned film producer-director whose films have received several national and international awards and Deepa Sahi, the internationally acclaimed Film Actress and Producer, MMPL was formed with the specific purpose of providing quality content for films, television and the infotainment industry worldwide.
In 2005 it produced ‘The Rising – Ballad of Mangal Pandey”, An Indo - British co-production, starring Aamir Khan and Toby Stephens. ‘The Rising' was one of the biggest films made in India and the biggest Indian release of the year. The film was selected as the inaugural film at the Locarno film festival and received international distribution and acclaim.

Sajeev Kumar is MMPL's Executive Producer and brings to it his years of expertise in production logistics and contacts in the film industry. Saneev has served as the executive producer for 4 major feature.
